We took the girls to Jump! Fly! yesterday, a benefit for ESP.

We were hoping for a hot air balloon ride, but the winds prevented it. It didn’t matter, though, the girls had the best time.

Daisy was fascinated by the people jumping out of the airplane. She’d watch them coast to the ground with their colorful parachutes billowing behind them. She wanted to meet one of the jumpers. I kind of knew one of them, so I asked her to talk to Daisy. She was so nice, planning out when Daisy would be old enough to jump. She let Daisy try on her crash helmet. Pretty cool. 

Clementine, obsessed with all things transportation these days, could not get enough of the planes. On the way home she kept saying “I like it! I like it!” She couldn’t stop talking about the day as she was drifting off to sleep: “Airplane. Fast fast fast – upinthesky! Airport.” (Repeat fifty times.)
